Paid my respects…

In a non-descript neighborhood about 3 miles from my house stands a memorial, to a true American Hero.  A Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class, who on June 28, 2005 joined the ranks of those forever young.

Here’s to you Danny, and all of those like you, who placed Duty over Self.

The sad thing is some stupid self-centered liberal nut-jobs tried to stop the construction and dedication of this memorial. It depicts GM2 Dietz with a gun - I am not kidding!!
Thank you and God bless all who go into harms way to fight for freedom and liberty.

Glad to see GM2 Dietz honored in such a way.

We have a memorial here in Cupertino, CA (http://cupertinoveteransmemorial.org) where two other members of that SEAL team are memorialized - STG2 Matt Axelson & QM2 James Suh.

Rest their souls!
